Jacquline Reaches Patiala Court For Bail Hearing On 200 Cr Money Laundering Case

Patiala: Jacqueline Fernandez arrived at the Patiala House Court in Delhi this morning. The court is scheduled to hear arguments over the actress’s bail plea in connection with the 200 cr money laundering case today. The trial court had already granted the actress interim bail, against a bond of Rs 50,000, until November 10.

Since her name was mentioned in the Rs 200 crore money extortion case connected to alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, Jacqueline Fernandez has been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) numerous times. Additionally, a number of intimate pictures of Jacqueline and Sukesh appeared online. Jacqueline Fernandez was listed as a defendant in the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) charge sheet against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar a few months ago.

According to reports, the investigative agency said that the actress assisted the conman in transferring “proceeds of crime” and was aware of the extortion scheme he was running. Jacqueline revealed her relationship with the suspected fraudster in her plea. “Jacqueline is another victim of the criminal acts committed by the main accused and his associates, who consistently lied about his real identity and exerted undue influence over the applicant’s personal and professional life either by showering her (and her family) with expensive gifts or claiming that he had done so, without ever mentioning their source,” her plea stated.
