Contractor Shot Dead Over Business Rivalry In Keonjhar Dist

Keonjhar: A contractor was allegedly shot dead in broad daylight in the Barbil area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district. The incident took place near the mini tower in ward No.6 of the Barbil area of the district.

The deceased was identified as Bhola Sinha.

According to reports, when Bhola was returning home when some bike-borne miscreants allegedly open fire at him in broad daylight. However, the reason behind this is suspected to be business rivalry.

On being informed, police reached the spot, seized the body, and sent it for autopsy. The cops have initiated a probe into the matter. The miscreants are absconding and a search operation is underway.
