Inebriated Man Drives With a Person on His Car Bonnet For 3 Km in Delhi

New Delhi: A man was driven for over 2-3 kilometers on the bonnet of a car from Ashram Chowk to Nizamuddin Dargah in New Delhi. The incident occurred at around 11 pm on Sunday.

According to reports, the victim was identified as Chetan. The accused was identified as Ramchand Kumar. Chetan alleged that the person driving the car was in an inebriated condition and did not stop the car despite his multiple requests.

“I work as a driver, I was returning after leaving a passenger. When I reached Ashram, a car touched my car three times, and then I came out of my car and stood in front of his car. After which he started driving the car, I hung on the bonnet and he kept driving from Ashram Chowk to Nizamuddin with me hanging on the bonnet,” Chetan said.

Meanwhile, the accused denied the victim’s claim and accused him of intentionally jumping on his car bonnet.

The police have detained the accused and the victim. Further investigation is underway.
