Ranbir Kapoor Gets His Daughter Raha’s Name Tattooed on Collarbone

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor recently revealed a new tattoo during promotions for his upcoming action thriller ‘Animal.’ The ink on his collarbone proudly displays the name ‘Raha,’ his daughter’s name. The actor shared this personal touch during an interview on Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna’s show, where he was joined by co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Ranbir, who tied the knot with Alia Bhatt in April 2022, announced their pregnancy in June of the same year. On November 6, 2022, the couple welcomed their baby girl, named Raha. Ranbir’s disclosure of the tattoo was met with enthusiasm from fans, with a video of the moment quickly going viral on social media.

The actor, known for his versatility, also spoke about his role in ‘Animal,’ emphasizing the film’s theme of the bond between a father and son.

Despite the film’s intense subject matter, Ranbir assured that he maintains a detachment from his characters after the shoot, highlighting the importance of separating professional and personal life. The actor humorously mentioned, “I am a detached person. I never take my character home. It’s not fair for my loved ones. Agar main ghar jaake is insaan ki tarah act karta toh meri biwi mujhe maarti.”

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Animal’ also stars Anil Kapoor, with Rashmika Mandanna as Ranbir’s love interest and Bobby Deol portraying the antagonist. The trailer suggests a gripping narrative, with the film set to release in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 1. ‘Animal’ will face a Bollywood clash with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur.’
