Vijay Varma Wins Best Actor Award for ‘Dahaad’ at the Asian Academy Creative Awards

Vijay Varma has won the Best Actor – India award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, for his performance as a serial killer in the ‘Dahaad’ streaming on Prime Video.

‘Dahaad’, directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, stars Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah. The show premiered at 73rd Berlin International Film Festival and received rave reviews from fans and critics.

Vijay Varma reshared the production banners’ official post on his Instagram handle along with a caption saying, “Such a huge honour! Thank you Asian Academy (sic).”

Dahaad is an eight-part crime drama that follows Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues in a small town police station investigating serial killing of young women.
