Youth Stabbed to Death for Not Sharing Cigarette in Rajasthan

Jaipur: A 20-year-old youth was stabbed to death by his friends for not sharing a cigarette in Udaipur in Rajasthan. The incident occurred while a group of youths was consuming liquor on Wednesday.

One of the accused in the murder case, Jitendra alias Jai was arrested by the Rajasthan Police.

According to reports, on the day of the incident, the victim identified as Rohit was drinking liquor along with his friends Jitendra and Sumit Singh.

In an inebriated state, Jitendra asked Rohit for a cigarette, and when he refused, Jitendra and Sumit attacked Rohit and later stabbed him with a knife. Injured Sumit died during treatment at the hospital.

CCTV footage revealed the involvement of two accused in the murder. Police are trying to nab the second accused.
