Watch: Crazy, Quirky “Killer Soup” Trailer Out, First Time Double-Role of Manoj Bajpayee

Mumbai: The trailer for Abhishek Chaubey’s comedy crime web series Killer Soup was released on social media by Netflix and its lead actor Manoj Bajpayee. This series to be released on January 11, has Konkana Sen Sharma as the female lead. This is the first movie in which Manoj Bajpayee appears in a double role.

The two-minute, twenty-two-second trailer is a collage of intriguing scenes that includes hospitalised Manoj Bajpayee singing the iconic AR Rahman song Tu Hi Re, someone digging a deep hole in the ground with a dead body in sight, a truck hitting a car, a police officer investigating a blackmailing case, as well as firing, fights, and violence.

In the end, Konkona asks Manoj, “Acha batao, soup kaisa tha? and Manoj replies by saying, “Killer.”

This dark humour series starring Manoj Bajpayee, Konkona Sensharma, Nasser, Sayaji Shinde and Lal is a crazy, quirky and bizarre thriller. It is the story of a home chef, a local inspector and a group of amateur villains. The series has been directed and co-written by Abhishek Chaubey.

The story is about Swathi Shetty, an aspiring chef, who churns up a bizarre plan to replace her husband, Prabhakar, with her lover, Umesh. Chaos takes centre stage when a bumbling local inspector and amateur villains enter the plot.

According to Abhishek Chaubey, “Killer Soup” will provide laughter and shocks as this crime thriller blends humour and quirkiness.
