‘Dead Man’ Springs Back to Life After Ambulance Hits Pothole In Haryana!

Chandigarh: A pothole turned out to be a literal lifesaver for an 80-year-old man from Haryana on Thursday, claimed his family.

This man named Darshan Singh Brar was declared dead by the doctors and his body was being taken from Patiala to his home near Karnal. All arrangements had been made for his funeral. The ambulance carrying his body suddenly hit a pothole on the route. Brar’s grandson Balwan, who was with the body in the ambulance, noticed him moving his hand and Brar’s heartbeat had also returned back. He immediately asked the ambulance driver to reach the nearest hospital, where doctors declared him alive.

The 80-year-old Brar, who is a cardiac patient, is now admitted to a hospital in Karnal in critical condition.

Balwan said his grandfather was on a ventilator for four days and, on Thursday morning, doctors said that his heartbeat had stopped. He was taken off the ventilator and declared dead.

When the ambulance was near Dhand village in Haryana’s Kaithal, it hit a pothole hard and it was noticed that Brar had become alive.
