New MEMU Train to be Flagged off in Balasore by Railway Min Vaishnaw

Bhubaneswar: Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off the Gopinathpur Nilgiri-Balasore new MEMU train service in Balaore district of Odisha on Saturday.

According to a press release, the railways minister will also dedicate the Balasore-Gopinathpur Nilgiri passenger line, and lay the foundation stone for the subway and inaugurate the PRS booking counter at Betnoti railway station on Saturday.

The new passenger line between Gopinathpur Nilgiri and Balasore will enable the people of the region to avail the passenger train services for the very first time. Three pairs of MEMU trains will run over this route daily.

The new PRS Counter at Betnoti will help people book reserved tickets. A Subway will be constructed at Betnoti Station to ensure the smooth entry and exit of passengers to the station. Locals will be able to commute through the subway without crossing the railway track.
