2 Mountaineers Die After Successfully Scaling Mt Everest

Two Mongolian mountaineers died after conquering the world’s tallest peak, Mt Everest, from the Nepali side.

They managed to reach the summit without supplementary oxygen and the assistance of Sherpa guides.

The two deceased climbers were identified as Tsedendamba Usukhjargal, 53, and Lkhagvajav Purevsuren, 31.

Usukhjargal’s body was found at approximately 8,600 meters, near the south summit of Mt. Everest on Friday morning, while Purevsuren’s body was located in the vicinity of the Balcony area at the height of 8,400 m on the same day.

Both are suspected to have died during their descent.
