3 Dogs of Neighbour Sneak Out to Maul Greek Woman to Death

Three shepherd dogs escaped from the enclosure and mauled a 50-year-old Greek woman to death in her garden on Sunday, at Neochorouda village, near the northern city of Thessaloniki in Greece.

The dogs managed to escape out through a hole in the fence of their enclosure about 80 metres away and ran to the woman’s garden, where she was working.

A deaf and dumb man assisting the woman in the gardening could not hear her screams when she was attacked by the dogs. Hearing her cry for help, neighbours rescued the severely mauled woman. An ambulance that reached the spot confirmed her death.

The 37-year-old dog owner was arrested by Greek police. The dogs are held in a kennel.
