Married Couple Kills Hotelier & His Girlfriend Over Extra-Marital Affair in Indore

Bhopal: A married couple allegedly murdered a hotelier and his girlfriend in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore over an extra-marital affair.

The Indore police arrested the couple on Sunday. They were identified as Mamta (32) and her husband Nitin Pawar (35). They had allegedly attacked and killed hotelier Ravi Thakur (42) and his girlfriend Sarita Thakur (38) with some sharp weapons. Bodies of the deceased were found without clothes.

Initial investigation has revealed that an extra-marital affair was the reason behind this double murder.

Sarita had introduced Mamta to the hotelier, and they began an illicit relationship, the police sources said.  When Nitin came to know about it, Mamta refrained from having any relationship with Thakur.

But Thakur allegedly blackmailed Mamta to continue their relationship by threatening her through an objectionable video of her.

It is alleged that Mamta called Thakur to Sarita’s house, where she and her husband allegedly murdered the woman first and later killed the hotelier. A detailed investigation is underway.
