Elon Musk to Resign as Twitter CEO Soon

San Francisco: Elon Musk said he will step down as Chief Executive of Twitter after finding a replacement.

Musk tweeted, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”

Stunned at his own Twitter poll result he decided to quit as the CEO. His Twitter poll revealed that a whopping 57.5 per cent of people wanted him to quit as the CEO of the micro-blogging platform.

This is the first time Elon Musk mentioned stepping down as Chief of the microblogging giant.

Musk has himself admitted he was too much involved in managing Twitter and said he would look for a Twitter CEO. He said that there was no successor and that “no one wants the job who can actually keep Twitter alive.”
