Israeli Strikes Claim 105 Lives In Lebanon As Hezbollah Recovers Nasrallah’s Body

Two days after killing Hezbollah’s chief Hassan Nasrallah in an attack on Beirut’s southern suburbs, fresh airstrikes by Israel claimed at least 105 lives in Lebanon on Sunday.

Lebanon claimed that 359 others were injured in the Israel strikes on Sunday targeting Hezbollah.

Four people were also killed in an Israeli strike on Beirut on Monday.

Lebanon has said more than 1,000 people have been killed and 6,000 injured in Israeli attacks against Hezbollah members during past two weeks.

According to Reuters, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s body has been recovered from the site of an Israeli air attack on Beirut. The body was without wounds hinting that he died due to blunt trauma from the force of the blast.

According to the Israeli military, the air strike that killed Nasrallah had “eliminated” another 20 Hezbollah members.
