Kathmandu: A 72-seater passenger plane crashed on the runway at Nepal’s Pokhara International Airport. According to news agency ANI, the Yeti Airlines plane carrying up to 68 passengers and four crew members went down between the old airport and the Pokhara International Airport.
According to Sudarshan Bartaula, a spokesperson for Yeti Airlines, “a total of 68 passengers and four crew members were on board the Yeti airlines aircraft that crashed between the old airport and the Pokhara International Airport.”
Rescue operations are underway and the airport has been closed for the time being.
