WATCH | Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel Crowned Miss Universe 2022

New Delhi: Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel, has been crowned Miss Universe 2022. Model, fashion designer, and sewing instructor R’Bonney Gabriel, 28, puts the environment first in all of her work. She is also the first Filipino American to win Miss USA.

Gabriel beat out 83 other co-contestants to take home the crown at the 71st Miss Universe pageant held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the United States.

India’s Harnaaz Sandhu, Miss Universe 2021, bestowed the title on R’Bonney Gabriel. Divita Rai, who represented India in this edition and finished in the Top 16 of the Miss Universe pageant, withdrew from the contest.
