CBI Arrests Railway Officer on RS 50 lakh Bribery Charges

New Delhi: The Crime Branch of India (CBI) has arrested an  Indian Railway Service of Engineers officer on charges of taking a bribe of  Rs. 50 lakh.

The accused was identified as Jitendra Pal Singh. He is currently posted as the additional divisional railway manager in Guwahati.

Along with Singh, CBI has also arrested the accused’s associate Hari Om in connection with the Rs. 50 lakh bribery case. Both were arrested from Delhi.
