Woman Mauled to Death by Pet XL Bully Dogs in London Home

A woman in her fifties was mauled to death by two registered XL bully dogs that she had kept as pets on Monday at her home in east London.

The woman was found dead at the scene. The two registered dogs were safely seized.

From February 1, it is a criminal offence to own the ferocious XL bully breed in England and Wales without an exemption certificate.

Strict restrictions have been declared for keeping these dogs that include that the owner of these dogs should have the animals neutered, have them microchipped and keep them muzzled and on a lead in public.

After a series of attacks on people, the UK government declared restrictions on keeping XL bullies as pets.
