2 Killed, 1 Injured In Shooting By Unidentified Gunmen In J&K

Rajouri (J&K): In the Rajouri area of Jammu & Kashmir, two local youths were killed and another was hurt when unidentified gunmen opened fire.

Two local youngsters’ were reportedly found dead this morning outside an army camp close to the TCP Alfa gate, five kilometres before Rajouri town, according to officials.

According to authorities, another local youth was hurt in this event, and it is being looked into if the firing was the result of identity confusion.

“We are currently awaiting the Army’s account of this incident,” an official added.

The two young men who were killed have been named as Surinder Kumar, son of Om Prakash, and Kamal Kishore, son of Radu Ram, both inhabitants of Phayalana ward 15 of Rajouri town.

Locals blocked the Rajouri-Jammu route in protest as officials hurriedly sent out more troops to keep the peace.
