2 Teens Drown in the Ganga While Taking Selfie in Raebareli of UP

Lucknow: Two teenagers drowned in the Ganga river while clicking selfies on a boat in Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, three friends – Tauheed (17), Fahad (19), and Shaan (18) had taken a boat from the Payagpur Ganga Ghat to take selfies on Sunday.

While clicking selfies they lost balance and fell into the strong current of the Ganga river. Fahad managed to save himself by swimming to the shore, while Tauheed and Shaan were swept away.

Bodies of the ill-fated boys were recovered from the river with the help of divers. The bodies of Tauheed and Shaan have been sent for post-mortem.
