4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Sikkim

Gangtok: An earthquake measuring 4.3 magnitudes on the Richter scale struck Sikkim on Monday morning.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake occurred northwest of Yuksom in Sikkim around 4.15 am.

The temblor comes a day after an earthquake of 4.0 magnitude struck Assam’s Nagaon on Sunday afternoon.

A day before, a tremor of 3.8 magnitudes was recorded in the Surat district in Gujarat.
