Dili (East Timor): An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 on the Richter Scale hit Dili of East Timor, the country which is also known as Timor-Leste.
According to the National Center for Seismology information, the earthquake was experienced at 01:53 PM on Saturday.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, the National Centre for Seismology stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:6.2, Occurred on 22-04-2023, 13:53:47 IST, Lat: -5.35 & Long: 125.69, Depth: 51 Km, Location: 356km N of Dili, Timor-Leste.”

As per the data, the epicenter of the quake was about 51 km below ground.
No casualties or damages were reported yet.
