9 Killed As Car Collides Head-On With Truck On Mumbai-Goa Highway

Mumbai: A truck and a car crashed head-on on Thursday in the Mangaon section of the Mumbai-Goa highway in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, resulting in up to nine fatalities.

The accident happened close to the settlement of Repoli at around 5 AM in the morning.

The vehicle struck the Eeco car as it was travelling in the opposite way, according to the police.

Four ladies and nine other victims died on the spot in the accident, and a four-year-old boy was also grievously injured.

The infant was saved with the assistance of the locals.
