Aaftab Likely To Undergo Narco Test On Monday As Polygraph Test Turns “Inconclusive”

New Delhi: According to the most recent reports in the media, Aaftab Amin Poonawala, who is accused of murdering and dismembering his lover Shraddha Walkar, may go through a narcotics test on November 28 (Monday).

Poonawala has been subjected to weary polygraph examinations. He is now likely to undergo a narcotics test on Monday after the polygraph results were inconclusive.

Meanwhile, a Delhi court this afternoon ordered Poonawala to be held in judicial custody. Later today, he would be shifted to Delhi’s Tihar Jail.

Aftab appeared before the court through video conferencing from the Ambedkar Hospital, where the police had taken him for a medical checkup.

On May 18 of this year, Aftab was accused of chopping his lover into 35 pieces and disposing of her body parts in the city across 18 days, which he later confessed.

Shraddha and Aaftab were living together since 2019 after meeting on a dating platform. On May 8 of this year, they moved from Mumbai to Delhi. Aaftab allegedly killed Shraddha by strangling her and later chopped her body into 35 pieces on May 18 for “easy disposal”, he confessed.
