Amidst Alliance Buzz, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu to Meet BJP Leaders in Delhi

New Delhi: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu is expected to reach Delhi on Thursday to meet top BJP leaders here as the ruling party wants to increase alliance to score a bigger win in the Lok Sabha polls.

According to reports, during his Delhi visit, Naidu may finalise the seat-sharing deal with the BJP for the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls, which are to be held together in Andhra Pradesh.

There are also indications that the BJP and the Biju Janata Dal, which is in power in Odisha, are also making efforts for an alliance.

In February, Naidu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president J P Nadda, adding to the speculation that they are headed for an alliance. But no concrete declaration has been made yet.

Actor Pawan Kalyan-headed Jana Sena Party, which has been a member of the BJP-led NDA, has already joined hands with the TDP.

Andhra Pradesh has 25 Lok Sabha and 175 assembly seats.
