Amritpal Singh Addressed At Gurudwara In Bhindranwale’s Village Before Arrest

Punjab:  Radical Sikh preacher Amritpal Singh addressed a gathering at a Gurdwara in Rode village of Moga district before being arrested by the Punjab Police on Sunday morning.

Amritpal Singh, who the government describes as a Khalistani-Pakistan agent, addressed a gathering at a Gurdwara in Rode village of Moga district before surrender.

Worth mentioning, ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh was arrested by Punjab Police from the Moga district of Punjab. Amritpal has been on the run since March 18 following a police crackdown.

Earlier, ‘Amritpal Singh wanted’ posters were pasted at Batala railway station in Punjab’s Gurdaspur. Punjab police offered to reward any person who gives any information about the Khalistani separatist.

The posters mentioned that Amritpal is wanted in multiple cases by the police.

“Whosoever has any information about him (Amritpal) can share it on the mobile numbers given below. The appropriate reward will be given on providing the information,” read the poster.

The posters also mentioned that the name of the informer would be kept confidential.

Worth mentioning that Police had last month launched a major crackdown against the Khalistan sympathizer and members of his outfit ‘Waris Punjab De’.

The crackdown came three weeks after Amritpal Singh along with hundreds of his supporters stormed into the Ajnala police station near Amritsar to secure the release of an arrested man.
