Arvind Kejriwal Unwell In ED Custody, Wife Says Sugar Level ‘Dangerously’ Low

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently under Enforcement Directorate custody in connection with an alleged liquor scam, is reported to be unwell. His wife, Sunita Kejriwal, mentioned that the 55-year-old, who is a diabetic, has been experiencing fluctuating blood sugar levels, with a dangerously low level recorded at 46.

In a video posted on social media, Mrs Kejriwal expressed concerns over her husband’s health. She emphasized the repeated searches conducted by authorities at their residence and the failure to discover substantial amounts of money, citing only ₹73,000 found. Additionally, she said that Mr Kejriwal would disclose the money’s whereabouts in court tomorrow.

Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate followed his ninth summons for questioning, with the Delhi High Court declining to shield him from arrest. This event marks the first instance of a sitting Chief Minister being arrested in recent memory.
