Balcony Collapses During Morning Assembly in UP’s Private School, 40 Children Injured

Lucknow: Around 40 children were injured when a portion of a balcony collapsed in a private school in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki region on Thursday.

The incident occurred at the Awadh Academy School in Barabanki when several children gathered on a balcony of the school. Due to weak foundation, the balcony collapsed.

The injured children were transferred to the trauma centre of the Barbanki district hospital. The condition of four students is said to be critical.
