BSF Jawans Shoot Down Pakistani Intruder

New Delhi: A Pakistani intruder was shot dead by BSF jawans near the Sadqi border outpost in Abohar sector.

On observing suspicious movement during the intervening night on July 1-2, the BSF guard on duty warned the intruder.

But the intruder moved towards the border fencing. To stop him from entering India illegally, the BSF jawans fired three rounds at the intruder, who was killed on the spot.

The identity of the deceased youth, around 25 years old, has not been ascertained.

BSF troops recovered a pouch from his pocket in which few cigarettes, lighter and an earphone was found.
