CBI Refutes Manish Sisodia’s Claim Of Raids At Office

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s office is the target of raids by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the AAP leader alleged. However, the investigation agency denied that they had today raided Sisodia’s office.

“Today again CBI has reached my office. They are welcome. They raided my house, raided my office, searched my locker, and even conducted an investigation in my village. Nothing has been found against me and nothing will be found because I have not done anything wrong,” Sisodia tweeted.

However, sources at CBI claimed that a team went to the office of the Delhi Deputy CM only to pick up a document and it wasn’t a raid.

The CBI conducted many searches of Sisodia’s home in August after receiving the go-ahead for a probe from Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. In the case, which involves alleged payments to political leaders by business players in exchange for liquor store permits, the deputy chief minister is the main defendant.

AAP has declared that Sisodia will now be arrested in what it termed a “political vendetta” of the BJP.
