As India eagerly awaits the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 at the Moon’s south pole this Wednesday, actor Prakash Raj’s recent tweet has sparked controversy on social media. The South Indian actor posted a cartoon portraying a man in traditional attire pouring tea, terming it as the “first picture from the Moon.”

Raj’s tweet received severe backlash from numerous X (formerly Twitter) users who accused him of mocking the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Comedian Appurv Gupta criticized Raj’s post, highlighting the distinction between political ideology and patriotism. Many users echoed Gupta’s sentiment, urging Raj to show respect for the mission regardless of his political stance.
The problem with Hate is, once you start hating someone then eventually your hate becomes so strong that you start hating everyone.
You forgot the difference between the person, ideology and national achievement.
Everything looks the same!

Several users expressed their disapproval of Raj’s tweet, deeming it derogatory and an attempt to belittle the hard work of the scientists behind Chandrayaan-3. Some users speculated that Raj’s post aimed to criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party but ended up as a hate post against the country.
Highlighting a concerning perspective, another X user noted that certain citizens seemed to be hoping for the failure of Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander in order to criticize the Modi government.
India is the only Country where Psuedo-Activists, comedians, Opposition & Youtubers praying for #VikramLander of Chandrayaan 3 to fail so that they can Pin down the Modi Govt.
