Raipur: Seven Naxalites have been arrested in connection with the attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Ten Chhattisgarh police officers and the bus driver were killed when Naxalites detonated an IED on the ground and blew up a police bus in Aranpur, Dantewada, on August 26.
Seven Naxalites involved in the incident were arrested as a result of information gleaned from questions and circumstantial evidence collected on the scene.
Three minors were also found to have been part of the aforementioned incident and were sent to a juvenile home on remand. The arrested Naxalites were serving as militia members of the Malangir Area Committee of the Darbha Division of the outlawed CPI Maoist organisation.
