Cyrus Mistry, Ex Tata Group Chairman, Dies In Road Accident

Mumbai: Former chairman of Tata Group, Cyrus Mistry has died in a road accident in Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Sunday.

The accident reportedly took place on the Surya River Charoti bridge on the Mumbai Ahmedabad National Highway. Mistry was returning to Mumbai from Gujarat in his Mercedes car.

Reports say the deadly accident took place near the Gujarat-Maharashtra border after the car rammed into a divider near a river bridge.

Four people were present in the luxurious car and two have been confirmed dead. They died on the spot.
