3 Dead, Several Houseboats Destroyed In Kashmir’s Dal Lake Fire

Srinagar: Three bodies were discovered in the charred remains of houseboats that were destroyed in a devastating fire on Dal Lake on Saturday. The fire erupted near Ghat number nine in the early hours of the morning, causing extensive damage to property.

Officials are currently working to identify the deceased, who include a man, a woman, and a person whose gender is yet to be determined. The fire also claimed five houseboats and an equal number of attached huts.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities are actively investigating the incident.
