Drunk Teen ‘Accidentally’ Urinates on Elderly Couple in Train, RPF Takes Action

Jhansi (UP): A 19-year-old man allegedly under the influence of alcohol urinated on an elderly couple on a train. The incident took place on the Sampark Kranti Express, a train running between Manikpur junction in Uttar Pradesh and Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi.

According to Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, the Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of the North Central Railways, the elderly couple, GN Khare and his wife, were occupying adjacent lower berths in the train’s B3 coach. The young passenger, identified as Ritesh, was also travelling in the same compartment.

Ritesh, seeming inebriated, accidentally discharged urine, which ended up falling on the elderly couple. The couple raised an alarm and the travelling ticket examiner (TTE) informed the Railway control room in Jhansi about the incident.

When the train reached Jhansi, the Railway Police Force (RPF) took action by detaining Ritesh and registering a case against him. Ritesh was subsequently released after he paid a fine.
