Five Including A Child Killed In Telangana Tractor-Truck Accident

In a severe accident that occurred between a tractor and a truck on the National Highway at Munagala in the early hours of Sunday in Telengana, five people, including a child were reported dead while around 20 others were left injured.

The deceased have been identified as, Thenneru Prameela (35), Chinthakayala Prameela (33), Uday Lokesh (8), Naragoni Kotaiah (55), and Gundu Jyothi (38). As per reports, they were returning home having gone to attend a pooja at a Lord Ayyappa Temple in Munagala when the accident took place.

As per eyewitnesses, around 30 people were loaded in the tractor when a speeding truck collided with it. All the people aboard were thrown out of the carrier as a result of the collision.

Police rushed to the spot and initiated rescue operations. All the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for medical aid.
