Frustrated by Wife’s Instagram Reel Addiction, Karnataka Man Ends Life

Bengaluru: Dejected by his wife’s obsession over making Instagram reels, a 34-year-old man named Kumar committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in the Hanuru area in Karnataka on Thursday.

The deceased was a coolie by platform. He was opposed to his wife being constantly glued to social media platforms and her addiction to uploading reels on Instagram.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the couple quarrelled over the matter regularly. When the things reached a flashpoint, Kumar hung himself from a tree.

Police have seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway.
