HM Amit Shah To Hold High-Level Meetings On Ladakh, J&K Today

New Delhi: Two back-to-back high-level meetings on Leh-Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir are set to be held today.

The meeting about matters pertaining to Leh-Ladakh will start around 3:00 PM and that on Jammu and Kashmir will start around 4:00 PM on Wednesday.

The Lieutenant Governors of the Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir will attend the meetings, which will take place in the MHA’s North Block office.

Along with the L-Gs, senior officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the two UTs, and Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla will attend the meeting.

According to reports, the sessions will cover development initiatives in both UTs, security-related challenges, and other topics. Additionally, it is anticipated that both UTs would be counselled to take important actions in response to the COVID-19 danger.

Additionally, it will be advised that the UTs increase their medical supplies, buy them as needed, and spread the word to all of the village surveillance committees about the importance of being active.
