Hospital Horror: Kolkata Woman Molested In Operation Theatre By Hospital Staff

Kolkata: A 39-year-old lady was allegedly molested by a medical staffer while she was partially conscious in the operating room of a super speciality hospital in Kolkata on Thursday.

The lady, who had been admitted for gallbladder surgery, stated that at around 9 AM on Thursday, she was moved to the OT and given anaesthesia. The procedure was completed by 11 am, the woman claimed that she felt someone touching her private parts while she was still partially conscious.

The patient herself submitted a written complaint on Friday to the Phoolbagan police station.

The Kolkata Police have started an investigation into the alleged molestation in the hospital operation theatre. The complainant underwent a medical examination as well.
