Khattar’s Nephew Jumps Back to BJP Few Hours After Joining Congress

Chandigarh: Ramit Khattar, nephew of Manohar Lal Khattar, who joined the Congress on Thursday, returned to the BJP after a few hours, reported The Tribune.

On Thursday, Ramit joined the Congress in the presence of Rohtak MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra at around noon. But in the evening, he jumped back to the BJP in the presence of Batra’s rival and BJP candidate Manish Grover at a public meeting.

“He (Batra) put a piece of cloth on my shoulder. Photographs were clicked and circulated. I am with the BJP, with Manohar Lal ji,” Ramit told the reporters present at the BJP meeting, as reported by The Tribune.

According to sources, Ramit approached Congress candidate Batra through a local leader, after which he was inducted into the Congress. He joined the Congress MLA during a door-to-door campaign on Thursday.
