“Messi-Gang” Busted By Cops in Delhi; Netizens Go ROFL

Whereas Lionel Messi recently led his team to a World Cup triumph that made Argentina fans the happiest on the globe. The value of his contribution to the game was so great that there were rumours that Argentina’s government was considering printing his portrait on their banknotes, a gang of pick-pockets which is named after the legendary player was reportedly busted by the Delhi Police. The gang was named “Messi-Gang”.

Whereas the Argentinian Messi is having the greatest of times, a Messi who also happens to play football in our country is having a bit of a hard patch.

“Police have busted “Messi Gang” of pick-pockets & have arrested 4 accused. Police have also recovered 56 stolen mobile phones & other things. Gang leader Messi is a footballer & involved in many other cases including murder: Delhi Police (sic),” reported ANI in a tweet on Thursday.
