Navy to include INS Vikrant

New Delhi: The indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant will be inducted into the Indian Navy on September 2. While it was built at the Cochin Shipyard in Kerala, it is said that it will be inducted into the Navy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh along with senior army officers are scheduled to attend the launching ceremony of INS Vikrant. Incorporation of the destroyer into the Indian Navy will be of great help in protecting the country’s 7,500 km coastline.
