Bride Hides Pregnancy from Groom & In-laws; Delivers Baby A Day After Wedding

New Delhi: A newlywed woman complained of severe stomach ache on her wedding night in Greater Noida. The woman was then taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors made a startling discovery: she was seven months pregnant. The revelation caught her husband and in-laws off guard, as they had been told she had recently undergone stone-removal surgery. The woman’s family had apparently known about her pregnancy but chose to keep it hidden. Despite the unexpected turn of events, both families managed to reach an agreement without involving the police.

The following day, the woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Upon learning about the situation, the bride’s family, who hails from Secunderabad in Telangana, arrived at the scene. However, due to the refusal of the woman’s in-laws and husband to accept her and the baby, the bride’s family decided to take them back to Secunderabad with them.

Sanjay Singh, the station in-charge of Dankaur police station, confirmed that they had received information regarding this incident. The exact details of the agreement between the families have not been disclosed.
