Rajasthan CM Gehlot Announces Caste Survey Ahead of Assembly Polls

New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced to have a caste survey in Rajasthan on the lines of the one done in Bihar.

The caste survey issue was a major point of discussion at a core committee meeting of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) held in Jaipur.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Gehlot said, the Rajasthan government will also conduct a caste survey like the one held in Bihar.

The Congress party has decided to use the slogan – ‘Kaam Kiya Dil Se, Congress Fir Se’ for its campaign during the coming assembly polls. The 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election is expected to be held in or before December this year.
