Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Mastermind Goldy Brar Nabbed in California

Chandigarh: Gangster Goldy Brar, who had claimed responsibility for the killing of famous Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moose Wala has been apprehended in California.

On May 29, Moosewala was fatally shot in his village in the Mansa district of Punjab. The attackers fired up to thirty shots at him. The murder’s mastermind, Brar is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Satinderjeet Singh alias Brar is a native of Muktsar. In 2017, he moved to Canada using a student visa.

According to reliable information from multiple sources, the top gangster is being held by the US Police in California for about a week.

Brar’s imprisonment in California is fully known to the Indian government, but it has not yet been officially confirmed. Brar may have requested asylum, thus the government is evaluating his status in the US through back channels.

Goldy Brar was the subject of two lookout notices from the Punjab Police. The first was in connection with the case of Sidhu Moosewala, and the second was issued earlier this month for the murder of Pardeep Singh, an adherent of Dera Sacha Sauda who was also a defendant in a sacrilege case.
