Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu Takes Charge Of Himachal, Mukesh Agnihotri His Deputy

Shimla: Congress leader Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, a four-time MLA was sworn in as the 15th chief minister of Himachal Pradesh.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at the historic Ridge at 1.30 pm on Sunday in the presence of senior party leaders.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, party’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former deputy CM of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot were present at the oath-taking ceremony.

Congress leader Mukhesh Agnihotri, the leader of the opposition in the outgoing assembly, took oath as the deputy chief minister of the hill state.

Union minister Anand Sharma, former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Congress Himachal Pradesh in-charge Rajeev Shukla, state Congress chief Pratibha Singh and senior leader Sachin Pilot were also present.
