Viral Video: Bihar Bureaucrat Drags, Thrashes Job Aspirant Holding National Flag

Patna: While hundreds of aspirants for teachers’ posts protest against the delay in their recruitment in Bihar capital a video has gone viral.

In the viral video, a bureaucrat was seen thrashing a protester as he lies on the ground.

The bureaucrat, identified as Patna’s Additional District Magistrate KK Singh, could be seen dragging the man and thrashing him while he is lying on the ground and holding the National Flag in his hand. The flag is later snatched away by the police.

Reportedly, hundreds of aspirants for teachers’ posts protesting against the delay in their recruitment were lathi-charged by the police in Patna on Monday.

A large number of police forces were present at the spot and used water cannons to disperse the protesters. CTET, and BTET pass candidates were among the protesters who were demanding the issuing of primary teachers’ recruitment notification.

The protesting candidates said that they are waiting for the recruitment since 2019. For the last 3 years, only assurance has been given from the government.
