Nepal Plane Crash: Fake TikTok Video Of Yeti Airhostess Goes Viral

Kathmandu: A purported TikTok video of a Yeti Airlines cabin crew that was allegedly taken just before the terrible plane accident in Nepal on Sunday went viral on social media sites. One of the four members of the cabin crew, Oshin Ale Magar, died on Sunday morning when the plane carrying 72 passengers plunged into a river gorge just before landing at the newly opened airport in Pokhara.

However, later it was discovered that the viral video was actually old and originated in Russia rather than Nepal. The footage does not, in fact, depict the Sunday plane crash in Nepal.

Ale’s emotional father, Mohan Ale Magar, a retired Indian Army soldier, recounted that he had advised her in the morning “not to go to work on a special day”.

Her family was getting ready to celebrate the Sankranti celebration at home when they learned of the plane tragedy.

Another video that went viral on social media which showed the plane’s right engine on fire, indicating that the engine had issues as the aircraft descended.

Meanwhile, a video taken inside an aircraft with 68 passengers that crashed in Nepal on Sunday, shows a passenger sharing his experience on Facebook Live.
