1.45 Quintal Ganja Worth Rs 1 cr Seized in Odisha’s Koraput

Koraput: Police have seized ganja worth Rs. One crore from a house in Irrigation colony in Borigumma of Odisha’s Koraput district.

Police raided the area while cannabis traffickers were reportedly making arrangements to smuggle out the ganja.

According to sources, police have seized 1.45 quintals of ganja and a pick-up truck from the spot. The police couldn’t catch the cannabis smugglers, as they managed to flee the spot during the raid.

The owner of the house where the raid was done, has been identified as Simanchal Sahu. He had allegedly given the house on rent.
