1 Killed due to Firecracker Explosion in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A youth died due to a firecracker explosion in the VSS Nagar area of Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar on Monday. The firecrackers exploded when the youth was making the crackers.

The deceased was identified as Shivananda Tado.

According to reports, the crackers exploded when the youth was making firecrackers after getting an order for a wedding. Due to the explosion, the youth got injured on his head, hands, and eye. The roof of the house was also damaged due to the sound.

The youth was immediately rushed to the hospital in critical condition. However, he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the case.
